TPA REALTY SERVICES ROLE
In addition to marketing various TPA projects, John works to develop and manage TPA's relationships with various regional development authorities throughout the state and southeastern U.S., including the Cherokee Development Authority, the Joint Development Authority of Jasper, Morgan, Newton and Walton Counties, the Bryan County Development Authority, and the Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
John most recently served as Chief of Staff to Governor Sonny Perdue. He has been active in politics, government, and business at the local, state, and federal levels for more than 15 years.
Prior to his appointment as Chief of Staff in December, 2003, John was the President and Managing Principal of Watson, Massey & Bowers, LLC, a public affairs firm. He served as General Consultant to Perdue's campaign for Governor in 2002, and as Vice-Chairman of Governor-Elect Perdue's transition team.
Other private sector experience includes Vice President for Business Development for the commercial contracting firm of Construction Systems, Inc. He was also a member of the land sales group at Resouce Real Estate Partners.
EDUCATION
John is a 1991 graduate of Wake Forest University with a degree in politics. |
